There are so many successful SP books out there with no specific genre. Only the other day I read a blog about a full time lawyer set 400,000 copies of her debut novel which she insisted had no specific genre, and that’s why she couldn’t get it published the traditional way.
My first book also has this problem – I agonised for months what to call it. I finally decided it was a memoir with an erotic theme to it, written in a chick lit style. I’ve got it on the Kindle now and I am pleased with its progress.
