Farewell, L.A.

Hey, Guys. I have done everything humanly possible to post the regular blog, but getting decent Internet connection has been pretty much impossible. I am on my way home from Los Angeles, so everything will be back to normal tomorrow. Well, as close to “normal” as this blog gets, anyway.

Right now I am literally heading to the terminal to catch my flight back to DFW. Eager to get home.

Okay, L.A. was a ton of fun and can’t wait to tell you guys all about it. If you get a chance, I was quoted in the Saturday Los Angeles Times, which was super cool. Looking forward to sharing loads of great new information with you. This is a great time to be a writer.

And the contest is still running. I love hearing from you guys, and this is the place where leaving your opinion counts big. Leave a comment and win your chance to get your first 15 pages edited by moi. This way you can put your best foot forward when submitting. OR, if you prefer, get a blog diagnostic. I will stop by your blog and tell you how to make it really POP (as I like to say).

Go to Friday’s blog for more details. I don’t dare type them out here. No telling when I am going to lose the connection again.

  1. When are you going to do a book signing in the DFW area? If you don’t have one scheduled, think about it at least…

Assuming your home by now…welcome home 🙂
Can’t wait to hear all the great tales of LA. Safe journeys.

  5. I’ve never done RT. I’d like to know if you think it is a worthwhile conference for authors? How about for authors who might not do romance? I notice several thriller authors attending.

  9. Welcome home Kristen! Don’t get too comfy, I’ve already written you in as a name that simply MUST come to the Writers Institute in Wisconsin! I gave several people your name and blog so you hope you have even more readers! Thanks for the advice, glad you had a great time in LA.

  10. Just found the article online. I was about to start digging on our old newspaper stacks when I remembered that I could find it online. So thrilled. 🙂
