After first discovering your books and blog I dropped the word aspiring from my vocabulary when telling people what I do, but I still feel the need to explain – no, I haven’t published anything yet; no, I haven’t won any contests; no, I don’t get paid to write; well, yes, I do have another job, but that’s not what I am……. It is exhausting. Even though I don’t use the word aspiring explicitly, I imply it with all of my addendums. So thank you, once again, for reminding me that it doesn’t matter if I am not being paid or published at the moment, I am still a WRITER.

It made me realize many things, look at things in a different way. Now I understand why some “writers” I know always use the “One day…” line, form now on I’ll be always trying to recognize an aspirant writer. Thank you for make me know that I’m not alone in my struggle, that it is normal in any writer. You just gave me more confidence to go on.
