I have to admit I disagree with one thing you wrote and I have seen this sentiment before. It is about blogging, and the suggestion that writers &quot;should blog.&quot;
I don&#039;t agree. If you enjoy blogging regularly and feel you have something useful to say, then by all means you should. But that doesn&#039;t hold true for every writer. It&#039;s like when you see these articles about the &quot;10 Rules for Fiction Writers&quot; and they survey published writers and post their response. You&#039;ll see things that start with &quot;You must...&quot; &quot;You must NOT...&quot; &quot;You should NEVER...&quot; &quot;You should ALWAYS...&quot;
Then I go and read a classic novel and it has adjectives or adverbs or exclamation points or metaphors, etc., etc., etc.
What works for one writer doesn&#039;t work for all. I&#039;m thankful that you blog and I read yours all the time, I just don&#039;t think it is a must for all writers. I DO think that all writers should be writing and reading all the time.]]></description>
