And the example of the married couple checking their cells in the short time gap before dinner. I would liken this to that person on a date who has to fill an otherwise meaningful silence with nervous small talk. If she’d shut up, she might find her way to a passionate kiss! TV is still a killer for me. I cannot pay attention to anything or anybody if I’m in the presence of a television that is on – especially during commercials. It can be a handicap sometimes.
