My favorite part of “Beetlejuice” is the “Day-O” scene around the dinner table. And the movie “Fried Green Tomatoes” does a creditable job of sticking to the novel – it is wonderful to see the Kathy Bates character come into her own with the help of the little old lady. Wonderful, fully human characterizations!
