Where: Bad Lamb Academy Digital Classroom

When: TUESDAY, OCTOBER 11th (7:00-9:00 PM EST)

Some Bad Boys have tattoos and motorcycles. Others wear three-piece suits and eat mergers & acquisitions for breakfast.

A Bad Boy lives fearlessly, doing what he wants, taking what he wants, and saying what he wants. He doesn’t date and only occasionally toys with women.

From Han Solo to Loki, James Dean to Jareth, the Bad Boy is one of the most dominant and powerful tropes in all narrative forms since our species started telling stories.

Why are we fascinated by them? As writers, how do we create them in a way that is both compelling and realistic? How do we show flirty antagonism and quasi-obsessive pursuit that in real life are probably creepy and unhealthy?

This class will cover:

  • The Bad Boy’s backstory
  • The Bad Boy’s rejection
  • The Bad Boy’s redemption
  • The Wolf vs. the Bichon Frisé
  • Mutually Assured Conquest
  • The Bad Boy voice: write like a man…literally.

A recording of this class is also included with purchase.

About the Instructor:

Cait Reynolds is a USA Today Bestselling Author and lives in Long Beach, California with her very patient husband, a cranky old rescue mutt named Horseradish, and two insane Basenji puppies.

She likes history, astronomy, Jack Daniels, jewelry, pasta, and solitude. Not all at the same time. She has worked hard to develop a good relationship with the NSA agents in the van outside her house. They now understand that her Google searches and Amazon wish list are purely for research purposes.

Cait is also the co-host of the ‘divinely funny’ podcast, Drunk Mythology Gals, which severely limits which of her book characters she will be hanging with in the afterlife.
